Privacy

Electron Recorder is a desktop app. Meeting transcripts, summaries, and (optionally) raw audio stay on your machine. The only information that ever leaves your device is:

• Audio is streamed to our transcription provider to produce your live transcript.
• Transcript text is sent to our AI provider when you use summary, coaching, or translation features.
• Your email + license key, sent to us to verify your subscription and record usage.

Transcription and AI processing are included in your subscription — there are no separate API keys or usage bills to manage. We never resell your data, and we do not retain your meeting content beyond what is needed to provide these features. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Questions: privacy@watertontech.com.
